30
YEARS.STORIES.PROJECTS

The architectural works presented in this exhibition bring together 30 projects executed over the course of 30 years by the Mexican architect Francisco Gonzalez Pulido. The buildings span a range of scales, geographic locations, site conditions, ecologies, levels of complexity, and client types. As such, they represent the diversity of Francisco’s practice and his commitment to design excellence, science, and technology. These projects are guided by logic, intuition, and multidisciplinary collaboration. They range from the scale of the interior to large pieces of transportation infrastructure that, regardless of scale, respond to atmosphere, ecology, comfort, economy, culture and the technological context. Each work preferences experience over typology and aims to dissolve the notion of an “archetypical intervention.” Throughout the design and

construction process, they express a desire to go beyond the current role of the architect and embrace the role of the master builder.
